Trade turnover in Baku grew more than by AZN 3 bn

April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade turnover in Baku for Jan-Feb has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department that the trade turnover in the capital increased by 5.2% (versus the 2019 same term) up to AZN 3.249 bn.

For the reported term the value of foods, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain grew by 6.7% (against the 2019 same term) up to AZN 1.535 bn and non-foods by 5.1% up to AZN 1.714 bn. 34% of the consumed products were sold at enterprises with legal entity status, 19.8% at retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, 46.2% on the commodity markets of the capital.
