April 6, Fineko/abc.az. This April Azerbaijan is likely to grant regulatory holidays for the banks in the period of the quarantine regime.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant measures are covered by the Cabinet-endorsed Action Plan aimed at supporting businesses and the population affected by coronavirus.

In accord with the plan the Ministries of Finance and of Economy and the Central Bank will prepare a macroeconomic policy framework in April that reflects the new economic realities.

It should be noted that the Central Bank has been tasked, depending on the monetary situation, to take a range of measures during 2020 and strengthen control in the direction of expanding the volume of the sterilization portfolio, capital flows and improving the efficiency of the currency regime.
