April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Serious problems have appeared in the loan portfolio of Gunay Bank.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Bank's report for Q1 of 2020 that 60% of Gunay Bank's loans are overdue.

According to the report, GB’s loan portfolio grew by AZN 30.3 million or 20% over the period and reached AZN 181.854 million. Of them, AZN 6.7 million were given to banks and other financial institutions. And AZN 175.1 million were allocated to certain sectors of the economy.

Most of the loans (for AZN 117 million) were given for business purposes, AZN 56 million for real estate loans, and AZN 2.2 million for consumer loans.

But despite the growth of the loan portfolio, its quality is not very good.
