May 8, Fineko/abc.az. With the purpose to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the Cabinet Ministers’ Operational Headquarters will introduce a special sanitary regime on the territory of Azerbaijan from 1 May 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, despite the fact that the requirements put forward by the state in connection with the measures being taken are generally met by citizens, in recent days there has been an increase in cases of non-use of medical masks in public places and the lack of social distance, which creates conditions for the spread of infection.

"Citizens are required to use medical masks to protect their airways when leaving their homes, in closed areas, especially in public catering establishments, in public transport, to keep a distance of 2 meters when contacting people, and strictly observe the rules of the quarantine period," it was informed.
