Azerbaijan to introduce temporary tax regime - Change in Tax Code

May 8, Fineko/abc.az. As a result of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, a temporary tax regime will be introduced in Azerbaijan due to significant changes in economic conditions.

ABC.AZ reports that at today’s session the parliamentarians have taken a decision to make amendments to Chapter XVIII of the Tax Code.

The amending draft document is designed to ensure the implementation of paragraphs 5.1-5.11 of the Action Plan approved by Cabinet Ministers’ Decree #135s from 4 April 2020, and envisages the tax benefits and vacations for business entities (including small and medium-sized businesses) working in pandemic-affected industries.
