January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Transport Agency (BNA) has held today a meeting with Baku bus route carriers.

During the meeting Agency’s advisor to general director Mubariz Abbasov has stated that carriers should coordinate with driver recruitment process with BNA.

"Bus carriers should hire only those drivers who will be trained at the BNA training center,” Abbasov said.

He pointed out that each bus route should number 2 or 3 drivers, but some carriers hire only one driver for a bus and it is wrong as that brings to accidents because of failure to observe working hours.

“BNA is analyzing the situation. And the new requirements will be presented for the bus carriers, given the results of the analysis," Abbasov said.
