Kasprzyk re-elected 21st time as rep of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, has re-elected to this position for another year.

The OSCE Secretariat informs that the decision was taken at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

Mr. Kasprzyk has been appointed the personal representative 21 times, being in this position since 1997.

In accord with his mandate Mr. Kasprzyk represent the current OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in matters relating to Karabakh conflict. He contributes to efforts concerning achievement of peaceful settlement of the conflict.

Mr. Kasprzyk participates in OSCE monitoring missions, which are regularly held in the conflict zone, and is always present at all the meetings of the OSCE MG co-chairs.

Also, Gunther Bachler, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for South Caucasus has been re-elected for another year.
