Oil prices rise, and Brent has grown up to $38.75 a barrel

June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are rising in Tuesday’s trading on the news that OPEC+ may extend the current level of production cuts.

By 9:05 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for August rose by $0.43 (1.12%) up to $38.75 a barrel.

Following the trading on 1 June the Brent oil contracts for August rose in price by $0.48 (1.27%) up to $38.32 a barrel.

By 9:05 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI futures for July grew by $0.32 (0.9%) up to $35.76 a barrel.

At the end of trading on 1 June at the NYMEX the price of July’s WTI futures fell by $0.05 (0.14%) to $35.44 a barrel.
