Central Bank sold $51.9 million to banks at a currency auction

June 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $51.9 million has been sold to banks in today’s currency auction.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $51.9 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar reached AZN 1.70.
