June 3, Fineko/abc.az. The passenger transportation on seven Baku express routes will stop from 4 June.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Baku Transport Agency that as a result of the competition, buses operated on these lines will be involved in passenger transportation on the bus lines assigned to BakuBus LLC.

Thus, some buses, that are technically unsuitable for operation, will be excluded from passenger carriages. Due to the increase in the number of buses rendering passenger services on regular bus routes and the resumption of the Baku Metro's activity, the demand for express bus routes has decreased sharply (up to 84%) since 9 May.

Also, in order to meet the demand of passengers, the carriers have increased the number of buses providing passenger services on regular bus routes.
