June 4, Fineko/abc.az. As of 2 June the Ministry of Economy received applications for financial aid from 28,155 taxpayers and 113,146 individual (micro) entrepreneurs, a total of 141,301 taxpayers affected by the coronavirus pandemic, in connection with the payment of a certain part of the wages of employees.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry that 28,155 taxpayers with personnel of totally 258,141 employees applied for financing the payment of a certain part of the salary of employees.

So far, the amount of financial support on the endorsed applications is AZN 95.43 million, including AZN 47.71 million within the 2nd stage (50%). As of 2 June the State Treasury Agency of the Ministry of Finance has provided transfer of AZN 85.54 million to 23,464 taxpayers for financing the payment of salaries of 202,647 employees.

As part of the program for providing financial support to individual (micro) entrepreneurs, the Economy Ministry received 113,146 appeals from taxpayers, studied and approved 105,731 appeals and submitted them to the Finance Ministry for transferring financial support to bank accounts of those taxpayers. The amount of financial support on the endorsed applications is AZN 61.02 million. As of 2 June the Treasury Agency already ensured the transfer of AZN 60.56 million to bank accounts of 101,390 individual (micro) entrepreneurs.
