June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The restrictions have been imposed on the use of air conditioners in buses in compliance with the recommendation of the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Divisions (TƏBIB).

The Baku Transport Agency (BNA) informs that due to the fact that the cooled air circulates inside the cabin, the risk of spreading COVID-19 infection increases.

BNA continues discussions with TƏBIB on the matter of launching a ventilation system in buses: "Work is underway on the certain rules with taking into account the international practice. When they are accepted, we’ll inform you about it later. In the meantime, instructions have been given to provide natural ventilation by keeping the bus windows open. With this in mind, we ask our passengers to regard to that with understanding," BNA says in a statement.
