Central Bank sold $26.9 million to banks in a currency auction

June 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $26.9 million was sold to banks in the currency auction on 18 June.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $26.9 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
