June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani potatoes have risen sharply in price in the Russian city of Vladivostok.

ABC.AZ reports that currently, a kilogram of Azerbaijani potatoes in the markets costs 200 rubles (5 manats).

The rise in price is linked with shortage of food in the Vladivostok region due to the closure of the border with China.

The problem that arose in freight transport, led to the fact that large and small businesses in the region began to look for new import markets. Currently, potatoes are brought to Vladivostok from Azerbaijan and Egypt.
