Amount of deposits in 4 banks with canceled license published

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The number of depositors in the bankrupt AGBank, NBCBank, Amrahbank and Atabank has been unveiled.

ABC.AZ reports that Tural Piriyev, the executive director of the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF), noted at a press conference that the four banks, which lost their licenses in April and May 2020, numbered 74,100 insured depositors:

"Amrah Bank’s deposits total AZN 144.9 million of 17,000 depositors, Atabank AZN 254.4 million of 25,600 depositors, AGBank AZN 134.2 million of 22,800 depositors, and NBC Bank AZN 134.2 million of 8,700 depositors. To date, 7,548 depositors of the four banks have been paid AZN 83.9 million of their deposits."
