July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2020 Azerbaijan produced 17.8 million tons of oil (together with condensate).

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that oil and condensate production in Azerbaijan for the past 6 months of 2020 totaled 17.8 million tons (decline by about 1 million tons against Jan-Jun 2019). At that, SOCAR produced 3.7 million tons of oil with condensate, 12.2 million tons of oil from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block, and 1.9 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz field," the Ministry said.

In the 1st half of 2020 the export of oil (with condensate) from Azerbaijan amounted to 14.7 million tons (a decline of 5.9%). This is about 900,000 tons, or 5.9% less than for Jan-Jun 2019. Out of oil-condensate, 14.1 million tons were transported by the consortium and 600,000 tons by SOCAR.
