Oil price falls amid expectations of OPEC+ meeting, and Brent is at $42.93 a barrel

July 13, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are falling in Monday’s trading amid expectations of a meeting of the OPEC+ Ministerial Monitoring Committee scheduled for 15 July.

By 9:30 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for September fell by $0.31 (0.72%) to $42.93 per barrel. At the end of trading on 10 July the Brent futures for September rose in price by $0.89 (2.1%) to $43.24 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.33 (0.81%) to $40.22 per barrel. At the end of trading on 10 July the WTI contracts for August increased in price by $0.93 (2.4%) up to $40.55 a barrel.

According to Dow Jones, last week WTI oil fell by 0.3%, while Brent added 1% to the price.
