July 15, Fineko/abc.az. During the funeral ceremony of Maj.-Gen. Polad Hashimov and Col. Ilgar Mirzayev, President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev expressed deep condolences to the family members of the martyrs.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Presidential Administration’s press service that on 15 July President Ilham Aliyev called the mother of the martyr Maj.-Gen. Polad Hashimov, Samaya Khanum, and the son of Col. Ilgar Mirzayev, Elvin.

The president expressed his deep condolences to the family members of the martyrs and wished them God's mercy and patience. President Aliyev noted that the heroism of our servicemen who died for their homeland will never be forgotten.
