SOFAZ reduced investments in Europe

July 16, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan has lowered investments in European countries and increased investments in the Asia-Pacific region.

ABC.AZ informs that according to SOFAZ’s report on investment activity for 1st half of 2020, Europe made up 29.33% in the classification of Fund’s investment portfolio as of 30 June 2020 by geographical region. As of the end of Q1 of the year, 33.16% in SOFAZ classification by geographical region belongs to Europe. Thus, between April and June of this year the Oil Fund reduced investments in European countries by 3.83%.
