Azerbaijan to aid to Lebanon – President sent a letter

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences to his Lebanese counterpart Michel Aoun.

ABC.AZ reports that the letter reads: "Deeply saddened by the news of the numerous deaths and mass destruction in Beirut as a result of a powerful explosion. At this difficult time, I express the solidarity of the Azerbaijani people with the Lebanese people. Azerbaijan will provide financial assistance to the friendly Lebanese Republic in order to eliminate the consequences of the tragedy. Please accept my deep condolences to you, the families of the victims and the Lebanese people, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery."
