August 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Main Anti-Corruption Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office received complaints about the illegal actions of Azada Safarova, the founder and director of Daniz Travel. An investigation was launched and a criminal case was initiated under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.

ABC.AZ was informed about this at the GPO press service.

The investigation revealed reasonable suspicions that Azada Safarova embezzled a total of AZN 1.525 million from individuals under the pretext of sending them on vacation to Turkey, using her official position.

On 30 July the criminal case was sent to the Baku Court for Grave Crimes, and AZN 373,000 were paid to the victims during the preliminary investigation.
