January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Today, Baku hosts a conference dedicated to the 4th year of the State Program of Development of Regions for 2014-2018.

Addressing to the conference, Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has stated that in his speech at the conference the head of state gave relevant instructions and recommendations concerning the effectiveness of meeting the tasks set within the Program.

"In particular, the questions of expansion of export and reduction of import have been covered. The country’s leader laid great responsibility on the heads of the executive authorities in raising investments. Besides, a road map on development of domestic entrepreneurship was presented at the conference," the minister said.

He pointed out that AZN 4.5 bn has been invested in business sector since 2004, and another AZN 368 million was financed in compliance with the presidential orders for socio-economic development of cities and regions of Azerbaijan.
