January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Work within the 2nd phase of construction of summer & winter tourism complex Shahdag in Gusar is to begin in spring.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has got acquainted today with the next plan of development of the Shahdag complex. First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov informed the country’s leader about the current state of the complex and works to be carried out here this year, within the 2nd phase. In particular, it will be built lift ground #5 at height of 2,350 m above sea level and a new descend line with length of 4.2 km to be not only the longest, but also the "red" on the level of difficulty. Also, creation of infrastructure of entertainment is planned this year on the main square of the complex.

A lake will also be created by the summer season within the 2nd phase of works, where tourists will be able to swim and ride boats, and in winter the lake will be used for creation of artificial snow.

Work within the 2nd phase of construction will start in the spring. The head of state was informed that work is already underway on designing of construction works within the 3rd phase.
