Azerbaijan reports of a 4% fall of traveling abroad by local tourists

January 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan continues developing agricultural tourism.

Culture & Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev has stated that travelling of tourists from Azerbaijan has declined by 4% and this is an indicator that the local population prefers to rest on vacation in the country.

"Within the promotion of domestic tourism, particularly agricultural tourism, the Culture Ministry and the Azerbaijan Tourism Association are working with the local population for attracting and serving tourists at private houses," Garayev said.
