President Ilham Aliyev: Balakhani settlement is under my special attention

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the landscaping works in Balakhani settlement of Baku.

The head of state met with residents of the settlement.

The country’s head stressed the beginning of a new era in Balakhani settlement and congratulated the residents on the occasion: "You know that I pay special attention to Balakhani settlement. A few years ago, the cleaning and removal of the famous Balakhani garbage dump gave a start to the environmental work already carried out here. Because it caused great inconvenience to the residents of Balakhani, and in general had a very negative impact on the residents of Baku.”
