Ramin Bayramli: 20% of Azerbaijani population to be enough for vaccination

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Estimates show that primary vaccination of 20% of the country’s population may be sufficient to control effectively the epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of the Board of TƏBIB, at today’s meeting.

He noted that one of the important requirements for vaccines that can be used is that the vaccine is effective and safe:

"Serological tests are currently being conducted. According to the WHO recommendation, vaccination of 20% of the population is considered sufficient."
