Business confidence index was negative on retail trade for 7 months at a run

September 30, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the fact that between April and August 2020, the average business confidence index (BCI) in the industrial sector of Azerbaijan remained negative, in September it rose to a positive zone.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that changes have occurred in other areas of the real sector.

So, despite the fact that in August and September the BCI remained positive in the construction industry, but had negative indicators in the retail trade for seven consecutive months.

As for the services sector, the BCI IDB in this sector has been showing negative dynamics for 5 months since May.
