ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with servicemen wounded during the military provocation that began on 27 September and receiving treatment at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

The head of state noted that Azerbaijan has a strong position in the world. According to the country’s leader, Azerbaijan has worked quite effectively in international organizations in recent years and has managed to prove that we are right: "We had to prove that we were right. Our position is already supported by almost all major international organizations. The UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non–Aligned Movement, the European Parliament, and the OSCE have all made statements in support of our position. We are grateful for this. This is the legal side of the issue."
