Duties on key product groups in foreign trade with Turkey can be cut to zero – Offer

11:24 - 13.10.2020

October 13, Fineko/abc.az. We propose to reduce to zero the duties on the main groups of goods in foreign trade with Turkey, which provides fraternal support to Azerbaijan in our struggle for our Karabakh, ABC.AZ reports, citing MP Vugar Bayramov.

He recalled that on 31 May 2020 Milli Majlis approved a preferential trade agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

"This agreement indicates that both quotas and duties on 15 groups of goods were reduced to zero between the two countries. This means that there is a legal framework. It would be advisable for the parties to hold talks on expanding the group of duty-free goods, and from next year Azerbaijan will agree on a new preferential trade agreement with Turkey. A friend is known in trouble. Turkey has once again confirmed its fraternal position in our just war."
