October 19, Fineko/abc.az. Despite all the obstacles, SOCAR's goal is to achieve the production of fuel Euro 5 in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by SOCAR Event Management & Public Relations Department’s deputy head Ibrahim Ahmadov.

He noted that this is the current stage. The next and final stage of the project may be associated with increasing the processing capacity of the plant from 6 million tons up to 7.5 million tons per year and will last until 2025.

However, the government will review the implementation of the next stage and after reviewing it a final decision will be made on the realization of the last stage: "Most likely, this decision can be considered during the period when the current stage of the project will come to an end," Ahmadov said.
