Salary of employees on certain sectors of Azerbaijani economy

October 21, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published a report on the average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan’s economy for Jan-Aug 2020, which is 710.2 manats.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the report, wages in the oil & gas sector amounted to 3,443.8 manats and in the nonoil sector - 650.9 manats.

The salary of employees of state–run enterprises is 625.4 manats and private enterprises - 817.9 manats.

Average monthly nominal wages in mining, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, information and communications, as well as in transport and warehousing were higher than the national average wages.
