Yeni Azerbaijan Partiyasi nominated candidacy of Ilham Aliyev for early presidential election

February 8, Fineko / abc.az. The 6th Congress of country’s ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan Partiyasi (YAP) has been held today.

The Congress participants heard out the reports for the past period, formed the leadership structures of the party and nominated candidate Ilham Aliyev for early presidential election.

President Ilham Aliyev voiced his gratitude for the trust.

The previous congress of the Party, established in 1992, took place in 2013. President Aliyev is the current chairman of YAP.

Azerbaijan will hold the early presidential election on 11 April 2018.
