17:53 - 27.10.2020

October 27, Fineko/abc.az. Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, has conducted today a news conference to clarify some issues.

ABC.AZ reports that there Gasimli stated that the current war will have a positive impact on the economy of Azerbaijan. He noted that if the economy usually affects the army, now the opposite will happen: "Azerbaijan's fresh water, precious metals, including gold and other natural resources in Karabakh will be attracted to the economy. Our gold reserves alone amount to $8 bn. We can also add other valuable metals to this list. We also have forest resources. In the first days of the war we said that the liberated areas will contribute about $2 bn to the economy of Azerbaijan."
