November 11, Fineko/abc.az.  TuranBank OJSC has launched the next technical assistance project with the EBRD under “Azerbaijan: Financial intermediaries capacity building technical cooperation project”. In accordance to the contract, the consultant - TA Consult Partners Ltd. - will assist the Bank with risk management and compliance functions enhancement. Regarding this, the consultant has   conducted needs assessment of the Bank and, following mutual consultation, the working plan of the technical assistance project has been approved.

The technical assistance project of the EBRD and corresponding services will help the Bank to ensure manageability of risk control procedures. In addition, the project will cover upgrading general guidelines and procedures of risk management system, enhancement effectiveness of operational risk procedures and development appropriate risk strategy of the Bank. The project will be implemented with the support of the European Union under its EU4Business initiative and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic Turkey.
