President Ilham Aliyev: Armenia failed to become an independent country

13:06 - 20.11.2020

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. During the Second Karabakh War the Armenian army had more than 10,000 deserters.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev during his today’s address to the people.

The head of state noted that the Armenians themselves recognize this.

"The Armenian army, in fact a group of robbers, could only fight against civilians, unarmed people. Their "heroes" are cowards, their leaders are criminals. The whole world saw who led Armenia over the past two and a half years. Armenia could not become an independent country, in fact, it is a colony. Armenia could not become independent because it was an occupier. From now on, they will live with the shameful stigma of a defeated country," the head of state said.
