Ilham Aliyev: I know why Armenians were not able to deliver weapons through Iran

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev touched upon a number of important points in his address to the people of Azerbaijan today.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state noted that Armenia could not carry weapons through the territory of Iran.

"I know why they couldn't deliver weapons through Iran. As Iran is a friendly and fraternal country. As, given our request, they closed their airspace. As they didn't want it to be delivered and kill the Azerbaijanis. Therefore, there is no question of allowing any allied relations to interfere," the president emphasized.
