Ilham Aliyev: How painful it was to look at your city through binoculars, from afar

November 24, Fineko/abc.az. Today it is very painful to see the destroyed Aghdam, ABC.AZ reports citing President Ilham Aliyev as saying this during his visit to the liberated city of Aghdam.

"A few years ago, when I was here in our trenches, I saw this city through binoculars. It is difficult, impossible to express these feelings in words. How painful it was to see our city from afar, not to come to our land. Repeatedly being on the contact line, in the trenches, I thought that in the future we will return, we will restore our territorial integrity," President Aliyev said.
