Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Uzbekistan and Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan agreed on cooperation

February 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Uzbekistan and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Azerbaijan (ASK) signed a cooperation agreement.

The CCIU informs that the Uzbek-Azerbaijani Business Forum and the Cooperation Exchange have been organized with participation of two countries’ entrepreneurs. The event will serve as an additional incentive for development of business cooperation and attraction of foreign investments for joint projects.

"The main purpose of this event is to promote to establishment and expansion of trade links between both states’ entrepreneurs, increase the number of new JVs and increase bilateral trade. The forum was attended by more than 20 representatives of large Azerbaijani companies engaged in the field of textiles, oil & gas industry, publishing, printing, pharmaceuticals, medical products, construction, restaurant business, trade, packaging, ICT, and more than 50 representatives of large enterprises and companies from all regions of the country," CCIU said.

The forum participants raised the matters of mutual cooperation to strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

The Cooperation Exchange is designed to strengthen partnership, expand trade and economic ties, create JVs and implement investment projects.

Within the business forum the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Uzbekistan and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan signed the Agreement on Cooperation.
