Production of vaccine may start in Azerbaijan

December 21, Fineko/abc.az. Sputnik V, the Russian vaccine against coronavirus, can be produced in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Alexey Repik, the founder and chairman of Board of Directors at R-Pharma, made a relevant statement.

According to Repik, the Russian delegation will visit Azerbaijan to discuss the production of Sputnik V vaccine and clinical trials of Sputnik V in combination with AstraZeneca vaccine.

"The program will be developed not only in Russia, it will be launched in a range of countries: now we are flying to Azerbaijan to discuss a clinical research project. Countries of the Middle East and other CIS countries can be involved as well," Repik emphasized.
