January 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) paid compensation to 24,178 depositors of closed AG Bank, Amrah Bank, NBC Bank and Ata Bank in the amount of more than AZN 616 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the ADIF that from 16 June to 30 December 2020 the International Bank of Azerbaijan paid AZN 234.94 million of compensation to depositors of AG Bank (AZN 109.39 million to 4,592 depositors) and NBC Bank (over AZN 125.54 million to 4,152 depositors) which are in the process of liquidation.

From 1 June to 30 December Kapital Bank paid more than AZN 381.18 million in compensation to depositors of Amrah Bank (AZN 139.41 million to 5,742 depositors) and Ata Bank (AZN 241.727 million to 9,692 depositors).
