Economy Minister: Increasing banks’ share in real sector financing is a priority

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, speaking at conference "The Tax System in the Post-Pandemic Period", noted that one of the important issues is to strengthen support for the financial sector to economic growth and diversification.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the minister, increasing the share of banks in financing the real sector is a priority: "Unfortunately, last year, due to the unfavorable economic dynamics, we were unable to see the desired progress in ensuring entrepreneurs' access to bank loans. The number of given bank loans to businesses has declined."
