ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this on 14 February when delivering speech in village Gulebird of Lachin district as part of his visit to the Fizuli, Zangilan, Lachin and Jabrayil districts with First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and daughter Leyla Aliyeva.

The president noted that at the same time, Russia can open a railroad to Armenia: "This railway line can only pass through the territory of Azerbaijan. There will also be a railway connection between Russia and Iran on the territory of Nakhchivan. There will be a railway connection between Iran and Armenia. There will be a railway connection between Turkey and Russia. In other words, all the countries of the region will benefit from this."
