This year’s first container train from China arrived in Baku

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The first container train from China arrived in Baku this year.

ABC.AZ was informed at ADY Konteyner that the train with mixed cargo covered the distance from the Chinese city of Qingdao to Baku in 15 days.

The block train consists of 50 containers of 40 feet each.

The containers were delivered from the Kazakh port of Aktau to the port of Alat by feeder vessel Beket Ata, operated by ADY Konteyner. 15 of the containers will be sent to Tbilisi.

It should be noted that by the end of 2021, ADY Konteyner LLC plans to transport up to 50 container block trains in the direction of China-Azerbaijan.
