March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on measures for gasification of settlements.

The order says that as a result of the implemented work to ensure the demand of the population for gas, the level of gasification in the country has been brought to 93% and the state has provided great financial support for the implementation of this strategic social project.

To bring the level of gasification in the country to 95% by the end of 2018, an additional AZN 100 mln will be allocated from the investment expenditures of the budget of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Finance was instructed to ensure financing and the Cabinet of Ministers to resolve other issues arising from this order.
