For this reason, it is quite understandable that several banks are opening branches.

ABC.AZ reports that expert Ekrem Hasanov stated about this when commenting on the situation in the banking sector.

He noted that the excessive reduction of bank branches over the past year is now quite noticeable by the opening of branches of several banks:

"In fact, it can be regarded in such a way that the banking system is already gradually coming to its senses. There is also a nuance that in the banking sector, some strong banks take advantage of the elimination of weak ones. But in any case, the growth of branches, the opening of new branches - this is the dynamics for the sector, the development of the banking system."
