Asphalting of the Victory Road launched

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Victory Road, the foundation of which was laid on 16 November 2020, was expanded in just 2 months, ABC.AZ was informed at the Azerbaijan State Motor Road Agency.

The Victory Road starts from highway of corridor Hajigabul-Minjivan-Zangezur and extends to the city of Shusha.

Within the project the work was carried out on the construction of a new roadbed, profiling of the road, and the lower layer of a new asphalt concrete pavement was laid on the first 6 km of the Victory Road.

Earthworks have been completed on 34-51 km of the road, and earthworks and asphalt concrete works have been completed on 42-44 km.
