Azerbaijan to cut mortgage insurance tariffs

April 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) hosted a meeting of life insurance companies with the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit -Guarantee Fund.

ASA reports that the meeting involved Association’s chair Mustafa Abbasbeyli, heads of insurance companies and Fund’s management.

The parties covered the Fund-proposed amendment to Article 27.1 of the Law on Mortgage and made their suggestions. Following the meeting the insurers agreed to reduce tariffs on mortgage insurance.
