SOCAR to start transporting Turkmen oil

September 13, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR and Vitol agreed to supply Turkmen oil via pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) from October.

ABC.AZ reports that the companies have signed a relevant agreement, the implementation of which will begin from the beginning of this October.

The oil purchased from Turkmenistan was previously carried by tankers through the river and sea ports of Russia to Novosibirsk, and then by oil pipeline.
