September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Production can begin in 3-5 years at the Dostluq field, located on the border of the Caspian Sea with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

ABC.AZ reports that Vitaly Beylarbekov, deputy vice president for investment & marketing of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), stated this in an interview for ICIS. 
"I believe production will begin in 3-5 years after the signing of the final agreement between the parties (Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan)," Beylarbekov said. 

It should be noted that the controversial name of other offshore gas fields, such as field Kapaz/Serdar, was changed for Dostluq. According to various sources, there are at least 30 bn cu m of natural gas and commercial oil in this field to be produced jointly by Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
