Total assets of banking sector lowered

September 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published the main indicators of the banking sector as of 31 August 2021.

According to the CBA, in August 2021 the total assets of the banking sector decreased by AZN 241.4 million or 0.7% to AZN 33.426 bn.

As of the end of 31 July 2021 the total assets of the sector amounted to AZN 33.668 bn.

The main cause of decline of total assets is linked with decrease in "other assets" by AZN 488.7 million.
